July - Product Update
9 July 2024
Improvements to Dynamic Risk Assessments
We have been working closely with several early adoptors of our recently released Risk Assessment feature to further develop its application.
You can now build your Risk Assessment forms with three new question types:
- Multi-choice
- Free text up to 1000 characters
- Text statements
- Hyperlink to other resources
Completed Risk Assessment forms can be downloaded as PDF for easier sharing and archiving within your organisation.
Version 4.19 of the mobile app will support these enhancements and the new question types will be configurable via your administration portal.
New Look Web Portal Menu
Our web portal menu has had a face lift and now includes the ability to "pin" your favourite menu item to the top for quick access. Some menus may have moved slightly, but rest assured that all menus are still there.
The new layout, group and navigation logic makes it much easier to find what you're looking for, while future proofing the layout for additional features in the years to come.
Our July updates also include other small improvements:
- Safety documents can now be a hyperlink or an uploaded file
- Minor changes in the mobile app to encourage user to save activities as Favourites
- Minor changes in preparation for two-step Risk Assessment forms coming later in July
Coming Soon - Zoleo
GetHomeSafe is beta testing an integration with Zoleo, a new and highly innovative satellite messaging device.
The initial integration allows three data points from Zoleo to populate your safety monitoring session with GetHomeSafe:
- Locations from Zoleo will form part of your GetHomeSafe session's GPS log
- OK messages from Zoleo will check you in as OK in GetHomeSafe
- SOS messages from Zoleo will activate a Panic Alert within GetHomeSafe.
Please note this feature is not available to the public yet. To learn more about the integration or to join our beta testing team for early access contact us.
Coming Soon - New Two Step Flow for Risk Assessments
Our July improvements include more flexibility to how the Risk Assessment feature can be utilised.
The current dynamic risk assessment form presented when starting an activity is perfect for take 5s, checking fatigue or a vehicle pre-start.
We have expanded on this significantly by allowing up to two types of dynamic risk assessments to be associated with each activity. You will now have the ability to include both the current "pre-start" risk assessment and a new additional "pre-planning" form designed to be completed further prior to starting, i.e. the day before.
This feature is scheduled for release in late July 2024.
