Better safety when you’re off the grid - GetHomeSafe 4.25.0 is here

Working remotely or heading out on adventures shouldn’t mean sacrificing safety. That’s why we’re rolling out GetHomeSafe version 4.25.0 with features designed to keep you connected in even the trickiest coverage areas. From smart check-in queuing to SMS controls, this is our biggest upgrade for out-of-coverage situations yet.

Better connectivity features for remote areas

We get it — working in areas with spotty cell service is stressful for you and your emergency contacts. This update tackles that problem head-on.

Version 4.25.0 now automatically queues failed check-ins and resends them when your connection comes back. No more wondering if your safety team got your update — the app handles the retry process in the background so you can focus on what you’re doing.

You can now see exactly which check-ins are pending and manually sync them to the web portal if needed. This gives you complete control and lets you know at a glance what information made it through.

We’ve also cleaned up the live-activity interface to make everything crystal clear. When every second counts, you don’t want to waste time.

Best of all, Zoleo device integration now supports essential safety actions even when your phone has zero coverage. This extends your safety net beyond cellular networks so you can communicate when it really matters.

SMS controls that work when your phone can’t

Ever been somewhere the GetHomeSafe app can’t connect, but you can still send texts? Our new SMS integration has you covered — and it’s currently available to beta testers.

You can now manage activities through simple text commands: send check-ins, trigger panic alerts, extend timers, and finish activities. It’s perfect for areas with minimal coverage where the full app struggles but basic texting still works.

The SMS commands are straightforward and easy to remember, even under pressure. Whether you’re in a remote valley with one bar or dealing with network congestion, these text-based tools keep you connected to your monitoring team.

Our beta community is open now with step-by-step instructions in our knowledge base. This is your chance to try the future of safety communication and help us perfect these features.

Simpler account management for enterprise teams

Enterprise safety managers need consistency and efficiency across multiple teams and locations. That’s why we’re launching account-level activity types and risk assessments.

This lets enterprise admins create standard safety protocols once and deploy them across multiple organisations. No more recreating the same activity types for each division — just build your library once and use it everywhere.

We’ve also added a duplicate wizard that finds and consolidates redundant activity types, cleaning up your account and eliminating confusion. The result is a cleaner, more efficient system that will grow with your organisation.

Ready for safer remote work?

These updates are more than new features — they’re a shift toward smarter, more resilient safety technology.

Whether you want to join our beta program or just grab the latest update, now’s a great time to see how GetHomeSafe can upgrade your safety protocols. Because when you’re out there doing what you love, you shouldn’t have to worry about whether your safety net is working.
